We are currently looking at several options for a more integrated membership add-on to the website that will allow individuals to join or renew their membership in a more seamless manner as well as manage their own profiles. This is expected to be in place by June 1, 2018.
Donations play a crucial role in supporting the mission of ATDS, including conferences, publications, grants and awards for students and scholars. Whether making a one-time donation or setting up a monthly contribution, you can indicate which fund you’d like to support: General Operating, Publications, Awards and our new Contingent Faculty Research and Travel Award.
This year, we have launched a new award, designed to support contingent faculty members. The ongoing challenges of the academic job market mean that a number of our colleagues labor in positions that don’t allow them access to regular university funding for research or conference travel. As an organization we are demonstrating our financial commitment to helping contingent faculty members to stay in the scholarly conversation.
